A “Dahabya” is a traditional Egyptian sailing boat. It has two sails: one at the front and one at the back. Dahabyas are tugged by small motorboats when there’s not enough wind or for faster navigation. Dahabya boats, with their 8 – 12 cabins & suites provide an intimate and relaxed atmosphere and an elegant way to experience the river and its surroundings. They operate between Luxor & Aswan in one of the most unique tours of Egypt to explore the country’s old history with its classic archeological sites, as well as rural peaceful life.
